In America…

Regarding yesterday’s post: “Do your best work, and let the chips simply fall.”

Let the chips simply fall. That has my attention. Looking back I logged too many hours, days, decades fretting the outcome. Which cut into the time and energy I needed to do my best work. Which cut into the outcome.

Hamsters and wheels come to mind. Running water through a sieve comes to mind.

I am letting go. Let the chips simply fall. Do my best work and be at peace.
