In America…
We practice meditation and over time we get better at recognizing the patterns of our thoughts. Better at separating fact from fiction. Is this thought true? Or am I creating a story? What is this story doing to my body (heart racing, muscle tension, inflammation)? What is this story doing to my sense of peace (anxiety and despair)?
Who would I be and how would life feel without this story?
Meditation gives us the skills to see the fiction and drop the fiction. Providing mental and physical relief. Creating space for something new.
