We ferociously protect our children.
And we grieve.
We let the grief in.
We let it chew us until we are thrashing,
on the brink of breaking.
So that our pain turns into action.
So that we finally, ferociously,
protect our children.
...and pass gun control legislation for the sake of our children's lives
